St. Pete Skatepark Alliance | “Best Trick Contests & St. Pete Skatepark Awareness Event”
Saturday’s St. Pete Skatepark Alliance Best Trick Contests & St. Pete Skatepark Awareness Event was a huge success. It was about 1000 degrees outside, but everyone was shredding and we all pushed on through. We had Best Trick Contests on the Jersey Barrier, The Hip, The Wallride, and finally the Double-Set. The skating was really really good and was as diverse as the current state of skateboarding around the world.
Huge shout out to all of our very generous supporters and sponsors: Freshly Squeezed, Schoolyard Skatepark, The Shop Skateshop, Local Longboard Company, Z-Grille, Food Now, The Boardr, Team Pain Skateparks, and Ultra Slappy Skate Wax. Please help continue to support our efforts to build a Free, Modern, Regional, Destination, Concrete Skatepark at Albert Whitted Park on the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg. You can help by signing and sharing the Online Petition, liking and sharing the St. Pete Skatepark Alliance Facebook Page, writing e-mails to St. Petersburg City Council, attending our weekly meetings on Monday evenings at 7pm Z-Grille in downtown St. Petersburg, and attending all important City Council meetings.
